Dear Sir,
I am inquiring about a work on paper signed "Lucebert". It is mixed media on heavy paper, 27,75 x 19.75 inches. Signed "Lucebert" lower left. There is no date nor title written on the back. Please view JPEG's. Could you give me an opinion on this work? And, if correctly the work by this artist, would you have interest in a purchase? I thank you for all your consideration.
David Davis, Redlands, U.S.A.
Dear sirs,
I have recently bought a painting, which is signed "lucebert" and dated (19)80. If it's not too much trouble, could you please heve a look at the attached pictures. I'd really like to know, if this painting is documented. It was purchased from a house-clearance-company in Düsseldorf. The actual size is 60x80, technique is oil on canvas. If you need additional pictures, please let me know. Thank you in advance & Best regards from Cologne.

Postman: Watch out! These are just two examples of the e-mails that we regularily receive from innocent people. In both cases they weren't made by Lucebert. It always happens with good art... swindlers smelling money! Please buy art from a honest art-gallery.
Postman: ¡Cuidado!
Groet,

Dear People,
Can you give me to get an English version of Lucebert's poem: "Poetry is Child's Play". I need it for survey about the link of poetry music and animation. With my deepest regards and appresiation

Postman: Diana Butterman is translating all the poems of Lucebert in English. Watch the news on the site.
Finally there’s a website. I’m an admirer of Cobra art. I’m
a painter too.

I have a question. Why is it in English and Spanish?
H.A.K. de Groot, Amsterdam
Postman: Thank you for your question, mister de Groot.
We build the website in English and Spanish (two of the main languages!), so
that the site will be accessible worldwide. And we give good links to Dutch
websites…just
try www.nouvellesimages.nl
This spring my husband and I made
a roundtrip to Europe. We visited Denmark, Germany, France and Spain. In
Spain we went from Madrid to Valencia and we visited the beautiful city of
Cuenca. We stayed a night in the Parador hotel, saw the “hanging houses” and we went to the museum Antonio Perez.
Very beautiful. We can advise everyone to do the same. We hope there will be
lots of “hits” on your website.
Cynthia and Bob Bosh, Houston, Texas, U.S.A.
Juan Romero Ibarretxe, Sueca, Valencia.
Mooie, overzichtelijke website.

Postman: The possibility to send an e-card you can find
in the Gallery. Just “click” on
a map, then “click” on a picture and at your left side above there
will appear a little knot with the possibility to send the image as an e-card
with your own message.
Dear Sir,
I have an opportunity to buy an original oil painting made by Lucebert. Now,
I’m not sure if it’s authentic. Would you be so kind to look
at these pictures and tell me what you think?
Thanks
N. Moerman, Holland
Hi,
I would very much like to know if it’s possible to buy some of the wonderful
drawings by Lucebert?
Best Regards,
Jens Lund, Denmark
Note from the postman: The lucebert.net receives often
this kind of questions. The lucebert.net itself doesn’t sell anything
of Lucebert.
Also the questions of authenticity can be asked better to the mentioned galleries
or the Lucebert estate in Holland.
Prachtige website, goed gedaan!

Hello,
I went to the Denver Museum of Art a few years back and saw an exhibition of
the COBRA Art Movement. It featured an artwork titled “Little Pomona” painted
by Lucebert. I’ve searched everywhere for a copy of this print, but
haven’t had such luck in the past few years…
Do you have any information on the painting possibly?
Thanks!
Gretchen Gershaneck, U.S.A.
Postman: Dear Gretchen, I didn’t find any specifications here to answer
your question (the lucebert.net is based in Spain) I think “Little Pomona” is
in the collection of the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, but I will send your
e-mail to a specialist in Holland, where they have all the dates archived.
I hope she can give you an answer.
Dear sir / madam,
For my Dutch classes I have to do a presentation on “Vrije Vers” (free
verse).
In this presentation, I have to perform one free verse. On your site,
I read (and listened to) “ik draai een kleine revolutie af”.
Could you please tell me if this is a free verse. Because I would like to perform
this one.
Thanks a lot in advance.
Yours faithfully,
Fleur Kelder, Holland
