Website of the Dutch filmmaker Johan
van der Keuken, who produced the film “Lucebert
- painter, poet” in 1962, and a second one in 1966,
titled “a film for Lucebert”. He and Lucebert
were planning to make a third film, but because of the
sudden death of the artist it didn’t take place.
Johan van der Keuken still wanted to do something and
Tony, the wife of Lucebert, gave him permission to film
in his studio a month after the artist passed away. With
this new material and a selection from the first two films,
he made the triptych “Lucebert - time and farewell”. |

A site of the government
of the province of Cuenca in Spain, which host the “Fundación
Antonio Pérez”. In the foundation is a very
interesting collection, including a permanent hall dedicated
to the work of Lucebert, the so called “Sala Lucebert”.
The government and the “Fundación Antonio
Pérez” just opened the “Museo Obra
Gráfica San Clemente” in the town San Clemente,
where you can find a number of graphical works of Lucebert.
