The writer Theun de Vries arranges
a meeting between Lucebert and the German play-writer
Bertolt Brecht, who stays in Amsterdam for a PEN-congress.
Stayed with his family from September 1955 till March
1956 in East Berlin, upon an invitation of Bertolt Brecht,
where he received a stipend from the East-German Government
as “Meister-Schüler” for a two years
term.
He was invited by the Bulgarian Government, together with
Sonja Prins and Hans Redeker, to make a journey through
Bulgaria in October 1955.
After a half year he wants to return to Holland, not feeling
comfortable there under the conditions at that time, but
the authorities took their time to allow him to leave
the country. |

El escritor Theun de Vries concierta
un encuentro entre Lucebert y el escritor de teatro alemán
Bertolt Brecht, que estaba en Ámsterdam para un
congreso del PEN.
Estancia con su familia desde septiembre 1955 hasta marzo
1956 en Berlin del Este, invitado por Bertolt Brecht,
donde recibió una beca de estudios para dos años
como “Meister-Schüler” del Gobierno de
Alemania del Este.
Fue invitado por el Gobierno Búlgaro, junto con
